IAM 3D HUB: At the Forefront of 3D Printing Innovation

As the host of the Bambu Lab European tour, the facilities of IAM3DHUB were shown by the General Secretary, David Adrover Iglesias, representing the Consortium. He welcomed participants to explore the potential of Additive Manufacturing Technologies and presented the interaction and adoption between technology and its users.

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to host Bambu Lab’s first European city tour here in Barcelona,” said David Adrover Iglesias. “This event underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the additive manufacturing community.”

The Barcelona City Tour was a significant milestone for Bambu Lab, providing the team with invaluable insights into how their clients use their printers and the unique challenges their users face. “This limited interaction has now transformed, thanks to our face-to-face meetings during this tour.” Said the Business Developer, Jesse Wiggins.

The direct engagement with customers emphasized the importance of understanding user needs to drive research and development, organize service offerings, expand partner networks, and enhance support systems.

Event Highlights

The event kicked off with a warm welcome at DFactory Barcelona, the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona’s building. Attendees were then invited to participate in an open Q&A session, where they shared their experiences and discussed various use cases for 3D printing. This was followed by a tour of IAM3DHUB’s labs, showcasing the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technology.

The session concluded with a networking event, providing an invaluable opportunity for attendees to connect with industry experts and fellow makers, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.
