30 years of dedicated experience in AM

With over 30 years of dedicated experience in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing technologies, Magí Galindo has become a leading authority in the field. Magí is an accomplished Industrial Technical Engineer in Electronics, graduating from the UPC – Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Recognized for his expertise, he holds a Master Level Certificate in Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (USA). Currently serving as the Technical and Scientific Director of the IAM3DHUB – International Advanced Manufacturing & 3D Printing Hub at Leitat Technological Center, where he is also the Head of Innovation in the AM/3DP Field. Previously, Magí spent nine years as the Division Manager of Industrial Design & Development within the same company.

Throughout his career, he has seamlessly balanced roles as an industrial research engineer and a trainer in both industrial and academic settings. Magí Galindo’s is the co-director on the Spanish leading Masters Degree Course: “Design and Engineering for Additive Manufacturing” from the UPC – Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya / Fundació CIM.
